This tour is about...

...eating the suculant pork and foods at Puerto Rico's countryside.

I designed this tour, so you can get to know and taste the foods of Puerto Rico. Your ride onboard the bus will be festive because I will play Puerto Rican music. You must taste my home made coquito that I serve during the tour.

The “Heartland of Roasted Pork” tour is a food and cultural tour that includes sightseeing on board an air-conditioned tour bus to view the city, suburb and countryside heading to the mountains of the Island.

At the "roast pig road" you will...
  • have lunch sitting next to a stream
  • a backstage tour with the cook that will show you how he pacts the pork with flavor and makes it moist and tender.
  • dance to live music.
  • blend with the locals in a festive and safe atmosphere.
  • free time to visit all the restaurants that are walking distance from each other.
  • shop for souvenirs, arts and crafts.

    Guavate Tour Review

    "El Guavate Tour"

"My husband and I joined Debbie for the Thanksgiving tour to El Guavate and it was awesome! We are so glad we decided to take this off-the-beaten-path tour to the popular (and typically) locals-only spot. Had we not booked the tour, we probably wouldn't have ever made it there on our own since it's an hour drive into the middle of the island. Going there on Thanksgiving is perfect, because everything else in OSJ was closed, plus it's a really fun party to kick off the holiday season.
The food here is amazing. Pork is the feature and is a must, but when you're here for Thanksgiving you have to try the turkey, too. It's SO GOOD. Also, loved getting to take the backstage tour and having a special area for us to enjoy our meal.
Debbie rocked. Her high energy, hospitality and organization made the day so much fun. Oh, and her homemade coquito is delicioso! Do it. You won't regret it."
